I have recently added crepro to one of clients websites and am trying to make changes to the template using Dreamweaver cs4. When i downloaded the program and went to templates "cre63_ats">header and footer, both are only in code and I cannot see the actual layout to make changes.

I also found that if i try to do an upload it will not let me giving me a "activity incomplete".

Any direction on how to do this would be appreciated.

I quit using DW quite a while ago, it's too cumbersome. I'm not sure about CS4 but earlier version wouldn't even tell you what folder the file you're editing came from. There are many files with the same name in different folders. I bought a patch to DW to fix that but overall it was too slow and cumbersome.

I use Zend for code, CuteFTP for loading files up/down, Xampp to run sites locally for design work and testing. I use Navicat for the database tool. Photoshop for graphic work. Firebug for Firefox for CSS and html sniffing. Beyond compare for melting files. Those are the main tools I use.

(above not quoted word for word)

Which will assist him with what he is asking about?

I for one when looking at the footer.php file can see and change the layout of the footer.php in Dreamweaver CS3 and CS4 when viewing it in design mode, this makes it easier to understand and make code (layout) changes easier to understand and make. I only see code in Rapid PHP 2008, PHPdesigner7, Notepad++, Web Builder 2008 and a couple of other I have. I have ZEND but have never loaded it.

We're grading responses now? I imagined someone using DW would know how to change from code view to design view. I suspect he doesn't have the complete site downloaded and running locally so design view doesn't show him squat.

I shared utilities that I use to work with CRE.

If you think your answer is more relevant and mine is useless than pat yourself on the back, look in the mirror and tell yourself what a genius you are. You're are certainly a legend in your own mind.

Best regards,

Did I bump the chip!
Ouch
Just was wondering how he could have been able to see the layout with the items you listed as this is what I understood him to be asking about!
