I have just had the Points and Rewards module installed. This has to be one of the most effective marketing tools for Creloaded. The potential for building customer loyalty and ensuring they become repeat customers is huge. This module ensures that any discount given away is spent back in the store. Also the rewards for referrals is a great way to have your customers grow your business for you.

i am interested in knowing that answer also, as my client has purchased this mod for his cart, and the only processor he uses is paypal.


i am also having a hell of a time getting the points redemption box to show on the checkout payment page


order total mod is turned on and such, but no luck

I'm sad to report that after 3 different PnR modules tried so far, NONE is yet PERFECT and fully working as it should. Anyone running a PnR module will prolly have swamps here and there, believe me...

WTF!?!?

Was it drag and drop? or heavy coding in php files?

its a very complex add-on.. and by design, right or wrong, works best in a 1 currency environment

Definately a great mod. Just added it to a 6.3.3 implementation with very few changes. Also managed to get the points info onto a seperate tab on the product inof page.

Just wanted to state that we have installed this mod numerous times, and made a few truly needed feature addons to this wonderful, though somehwat behind the curve in coding, modification to osC/CVRE based carts. Nonetheless it is a VERY powerful tool that can generate some of the greatest return business I have yet to see with very little effort on the part of the store owner.

Also I wanted to touch on the WPP and PP parts of this mod. There are some already existent mods that can make this addon work with the older PayPal Payment Modules from osC and Early CRE, But alas I do not posess the skills needed to integrate this mod with any of the "off-site" payment modules out there and havent seen any floating around the net as of yet. The Google Checkout, WPP and possibly a couple others are at this point out of the scope for a great but aging addon.

It would be well worth the price to see a WPP & Google Checkout modification for such a great contribution to the FREE osC based carts out there.

This post is nothing more than a quick rant on the P&R Addon that so many of us truly LOVE and can't seem to live without.
