Hi,
I reached the point where is says that the installation is successful... but what do all these sentences mean?

Warning: mysql_connect(): Access denied for user 'magicmermaid'@'localhost' (using password: YES) in /home/mandidul/public_html/jewelry/CRE LOADED/catalog/install/includes/functions/database.php on line 29

Warning: mysql_query(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL-Link resource in /home/mandidul/public_html/jewelry/CRE LOADED/catalog/install/includes/functions/database.php on line 54

Warning: mysql_num_rows(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/mandidul/public_html/jewelry/CRE LOADED/catalog/install/includes/functions/database.php on line 64

Warning: mysql_query(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL-Link resource in /home/mandidul/public_html/jewelry/CRE LOADED/catalog/install/includes/functions/database.php on line 54

The configuration was successful!

ALSO,
WHen I click on the buttons... "CLICK HERE TO GO TO CATALOG"
and " CLICK HERE TO GO TO ADMIN. It just refreshes the same page
with the warning sentences above.
PLEASE CLARIFY
THANKS

Sorry but we have an error while trying to import the database tables:

Can't create database 'mystore_com_store'. (errno: 13)

Why is this happening? On my server, i do dont create a database. So what am i doing wrong?

For your problem first try the back button a couple times, sometimes works for me, if that doesn't work then try to change the

catalog/.htaccess file and rename it to .htaccessbak to save a backup copy of it.

now in the same directory find a file called

catalog/dot.htaccess

and rename it to

.htaccess

this just may help a lot as it has for me in the past.

Good Luck I hope this helps.

I tried this but it did not work. On step 3 I put this:

server1.mysite.com

root

password

store

the "root" is the user name for my server. It says that it has successfully connecting to the database

"We have successfully connected to the MYSQL server.
Database to Import : /var/www/html/install/sql/creloaded62stnd.sql"

I don’t create the database on the server, i let the install process do this. When I first created the database on the server, the installation says that the database already exist.

I dont remember having problems with 6.20 V1, but I like the new features in V5.

I did a google search and apparently you have to chmod 775 on the mysql folder.

Even though I have a dedicated server, i was denied access to this. What to do???

you have to create the database first.. the install program will not do that.. if you are using a dedicated server, the path to your database will be localhost then you will need to provide the database name(that you created) along with the password.. if you are getting an error about the database already being created.. then you have used your back button during install.. just restart the install process when you run into an error..

Shared servers always have the database on another server.. this is when you have to use your host to find the mysql server name (usually in your control panel) or right after you create the dummy database.. all what creloaded will do is populate the database..

skip it,the installation can be completed ,a warning on step 8 thought:
Warning: mysql_num_rows(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/brand33/public_html/install/includes/functions/database.php on line 64

and site can't be opened actually,it says:

1046 - No database selected

select configuration_key as cfgKey, configuration_value as cfgValue from configuration

fixed it finally!!!
Be sure to add your database user to database in your cpanel(i'm hosting at lunarpages.com),installing oscommerce doen't require this.
Though there'll be such a warning in the installation on step 3 if database user added to databse as following:

"New Installation

Database to Import :

A test connection made to the database was NOT successful.

The error message returned is:

Install Error: A test database could not be created

Mysql error: Can't create database 'brand33_forwardway'; database exists

Please click on the Continue button below to review your database server settings.

If you require help with your database server settings, please consult your hosting company.

If you Click the "Over ride check and procced" button you will over distroy the current database. Please make sure you really want to do this. "

Just click the "Over ride check and procced" button, follow the steps, you'll make it.
Hope this helpsful!
