Hi,

When upgrading to 6.3 from 6.2 sp1 with default ( full store ) i'm getting blank admin page and blank frontpage.

When upgrading from a clean install 6.2 pro i'm getting

there is nothing configured, just default cre install and than a lot of problems

Does someone know where to find the serial for cre 6.3, it's not in mail or my account

Did you install the new 6.3 in a new folder and new DB and run the upgrade?

Where you pointed to the How to Upgrade instructions?

Installation docs on link are not correct, install dir is not in upgrade package , you have to go to "upgrade" dir to install.

Created a new dir "catalog_new" and new db, no errors on upgrade.

Full upgrade from old store doesn't work at all, only upgrade from clean install 6.2 sp2, after that template errors , new Cre is ATS template. and gives this error. I'll think this new one doesn't work with the old templates

sorry about the /upgrade/ dir mistake in the docs.

Yes the updrade is not a DROP IN REPLACEMENT upgrade process.

This is becuase of the new security enhancements in 6.3 and we dont want a bunch of unused files from 62. in your 6.3 installation.

Your 6.2 pro is still running separately from the 6.3 instalation correct?

I've chat with tech support, they didn't found what's the problem and after a while Matt said , you have to buy more support credits

You should have support with your purchase of 6.3 Professional.

"after a while".. you mean one day, after a while, or you mean you chatted him for a few hours and used up your chat time?

I had to install the generic 6.3 skin for it to work at all in catalog view....

None of the other installed skins work.. I get:

and the same with all the others that are available... I uploaded & installed a purchased one (for 6.2pro) and get a heap of errors too...

Surely they should be backwards compatible!!!!!

yes they are to be backward compatible. there is a old session function that stopped using in 6.3 that seems that some older templates used to determine if the state of the login/logoff link.

We have a solution it appears it got past our QA team.

Upgrade doens't work fro me, not from full store and not from clean installed 6.2sp1 store. Gives errors on default 6.2 template (Template Error : Error with Original1 Template ) and with Algozone or Templatemonster template, gives blank mainpage and admin page

I've tried to install la clean store and than with "Easy Populate Advanced Import" but also a lot of errors , I've CMOD TMP / TEMP to 777 so no security issue I think
