In phpMyAdmin I have the following:



Which clearly shows I have a product_options_values_id of 604 and values_name Watermelon.

Now in CRE admin I have the following on the 58th page of option values:



And on the 59th page of option values I have:



Opps! 604 is not there.

Is there a way I can get product_options_values_id of 604 to show back up in CRE admin?
There are live products using it now and they seem fine, even though if you choose to edit the attributes on those products this option is not shown in the list. I can use attrib copy from a product using this option value and it also works. I just cannot create a new product, then edit the attributes and use 604 (trim color watermelon) alone as it does not show up when you edit the attributes of that product. I also cannot remove the watermelon color attribute since it is not listed to be unchecked.
This is going to cause problems later on.

what version/patch are you using?

do you have the export options when using attributes 9under data manager?)

why not just drop that value via phpmyadmin.. create a new one, and any that were using it, attach the new one

have you tried repairing that table.. not that it will help

also look in table product_options_values_to_products and see if it is attached to the product

I do have the export options in data manager. How would that help?

The option value in question is attached to the product according to the table product_attributes. I do not have a table called product_options_values_to_products. I have one called product_options_values_to_products_options, which I assume is what you meant, but I could not figure out how to find the product in that table.

As usual, repairing the table did nothing.

I have tried dropping the value and then changing it to the same ID as before but that did not work either. It puts 2 instances of the value in admin when I do that.

I will have to come back to this when needed. As always, thanks.

If you dropped it, and then manually added it back, that is you problem.. you have to add it back via admin.. or the options import.. not via phpmyadmin unless you add it in EVERY table
product_options_values_to_products is now part of 6.3

I exported the options. The only one that appears to be wrong is EPA_values_2009Mar28-1503 as the v_products_options_values_id of 604 is not on it. So if I add it that one line and up load will that fix the fact that it will not display in admin. Seem like it would to me but I'm not sure.

One of the v_products_options_values_name_1 names is Cafe'. The apostrophe is causing an error when I try to up load the file I mentioned above. Can I just delete all the id's and values in that file and add just the line that is missing without it removing the others when I upload it? Again I am pretty sure that will work fine but I am not sure.

I processed it anyway, but there is still no 604 in admin.

make sure you have it added to all 3 files

It does not appear that it needs to be added to EPA_options_, what needs to be in that file is already there unless I'm just stupid.

Same with the EPA_attributes_. All items that use the missing attribute in question already have the attribute id attached to the products, at least in the downloaded data. Which is why the product options appear fine online and I am able to copy the attributes of products using this option to another product and have that work as well.

I did manage to discover another duplicated entry in the attributes and get rid of it while screwing with all this, but still no 604 in admin.

save your self a lot of time... drop the 604.. create a new one.. then assign it to all the other products as first suggested

editing within phpmyadmin is dangerous

Yeah, thanks. It's nutty. I don't like editing in myphpadmin either.

this problem also happened to me using the 6.4.1 b2b cart, I was inputting values in the admin and they were in the products_options_values table, but not displayed in the admin, or the drop-down for the product attribute connection to the values.
My guess is the script inputting the data into the tables is faulty as it dropped more than 7 entries in 60 value inputs, the login didn't time out either,.... maybe something support should look into
