I accidentally deleted the title page for one category of my products. Is there a way to recover all the products that were loaded within that category? I'm using 6.2. Please say yes.... :(

So you deleted the entire category you mean? And no to regular backups via Admin >> Tools >> one of the first 2 options? And your hosting company doesn't have any backup. You'd've had to clicked delete twice to achieve this ... ?

Hi Simon - Sounds like from your post, I cannot access a restore point from the admin on my own, but rather only from my hosting company. I'm checking with them to see if they have a recent back up. Also - I only clicked delete once, so am hoping that means the products are still out there.... Let me know if I did not understand you post correctly, otherwise thanks for trying to help...

Yeah sorry too many ???s ... so no backups in Admin >> Tools >> and one of the first two options at the top of the list (Mysql Backup or Database Backup. Do the same thing.). This is the place for backups of the database, where you can save and restore.

Usually there'd be a warning message to the right if the category you're about to delete had products in it, anyway ... next thing is to look at the database itself, product and product descriptions tables for known products from the category. Hopefully your host has some good news.

Simon
