I have a 6.3 CRE Loaded Site and I wondered if anyone has done a contribution or mod that will allow me to have my categories with images on the home page, like this site here http://www.jtspas.com/ I know this is an asp site, but it just makes it easier for customers who land on the home page to see pictures of the products, by category.

If no one has can you point me in the right direction please Thank you.

Not sure about 6.3 but if you goto Admin - Design Controls - template Manager.
Select your template and then click edit, on the right side of the window near the bottom you should have 6 drop down boxes, clicking these will bring up a selection of modules to display on the home page.
One of the modules is called,main_categories.php and will do what you want, albeit not to a design like the like you posted but would be reasonably easy to modify.

the file is found in one of two places:
templates/default/mainpage_modules or templates/YOUR TEMPLATE/mainpage_modules

All I have to do now is put the image in the category and it displays on the page "MAGIC".
