MailBeez is a modular system for the implementation of Automatic Aftersales Trigger Email Campaigns.

examples:

* Customer satisfaction surveys after a defined number of days after sending
* Review Reminder after a couple of weeks
* Birthday and Season Greetings in connection with Coupon Codes
* Service Emails for e.g. wearing parts, maintenance updates
* Customer reactivation emails – make a personal offer e.g. 6 months after last order
* Payment reminder of e.g. Cash in Advanced or Invoice payments

MailBeez support the development of both Transactional and Recurring Trigger Email Campaigns. You will soon find a number of ready-made MailBeez Modules on MailBeez.com or you can build your own.

To Build your own MailBeez Modules you only need to focus on the development of your Query (SQL) and your Email-Template – everything else is taken care of!

Please contribute to the developement of MailBeez by sharing your MailBeez Modules on www.mailbeez.com.

Enjoy MailBeez and let me know what you think.

This is a very good addition to any Creloaded store. I have increased my reviews by 300%

Hello MB,

What does this mean?

Also, can you explain more about how the MB Coupon campaign modules work in with the existing Cre Loaded coupon system? The Documentation is kinda brief on the MB site about this as it relates to Cre.

Thanks,
Simon

hi simon,

have a look at some ready made module - each module is build around a SQL query with "catches" the customers/orders you would like to follow-up on. On mailbeez com there is also an example:
http://www.mailbeez.com/featured/develop-your-own-mailbeez/

Coupon Module:
the modules are compatible with CRE - see the compatibility matrix on http://www.mailbeez.com/documentation/compatibility/

If you are running Mailbeez you only need to copy some new files, adopt the email templates (txt files) and set configurations to "install" the modules - so straight forward and done within minutes.

hope that helps?

Yeah but that doesn't really tell you much - what I'm asking is how does it work along with Cre's coupon system. Obviously you have to purchase the MB coupon modules (they're not free) and with software it's usually a non-refund situation ... unless you explain how the coupon actually works in with the system, there's an element of unknown software functionality and financial risk there eh? Bit unnecessary wud'n't yer say?

Sure, if the free parts work or don't .. no probs. It's when yer start charging for bits n pieces and there's no obvious docs / screenshots with the Cre version ... then that's a bit different, eh?

Simon

PS It kinda looks as though the MB modules for Cre are just 'oscommerce' ones still, which adds to the coupon question (the v1.7 MB modules I've installed all have 'oscommerce' in the process screens.)

hi simon,
it is good to have your fresh view on MailBeez - am just to close to see how it appears to someone else. I think I need to rework some information on mailbeez.com

CRELoaded thinks itself it is osCommerce - that is because it really is osCommerce, with a different admin-CSS-skin, some changes and a lot of already integrated addons.
Like the other supported carts, CRE is a fork of osCommerce and has almost an identically table structure. That allowed me to build an compatibility layer and on top of this the MailBeez framework. The MailBeez modules are therefore the same for all platforms - the compatibility of the modules only depends on the "subsystems" e.g. the coupon system which is not standard in osCommerce.

The CRE Coupon System is known on osCommerce as CCGV - and (with minor changes) used by the other carts as well (except digistore).

From your perspective as an admin the coupon modules do not require very much attention. You need to set up a coupon as you like in your coupon-admin and then chose this coupon as e.g. re-order coupon or campaign coupon. The modules are utilizing all features of the coupon system for e.g. tracking, which allows to send a expiry reminder.

So the Premium Coupon Modules will work on your CRE Loaded store - otherwise I will give you a 100% refund after we tried to fix eventually bugs. promised!

Thanks for the reply - yes, I think if by re-working you mean addressing how MB works in relation to the operation of a cre loaded cart then you bet.

Maybe, but people here use cre loaded - and I assume would want a product like coupon modules explained in cre loaded terms.

Ah right - so the MB coupons are actually set up in the Cre Coupon Admin area? This is new info (see what I'm gettin at?)

Excellent - great news.

Thanks,

Hi!

Excelent contribution! Thanks a million for providing it as open source. We have installed it on all 3 our stores and we are in the process of modifying it. I will rate is as soon as possible, as more people need to hear about and trust it.
We have a problem with out hosting company. They say we cannot send more as a certain number of emails per minute, as this will make the server to fain. Is there a way to setup this (to send only a certain number of emails in a time interval)? Thank you very much.

Sincerely,
MN

hi MN,

the "simple throttling" does what you need - you find the module download through the MailBeez admin or on mailbeez.com > downloads > Filter & Helper.

Please contact me for a quote for your 3 shops.

Make sure you use the latest version of MailBeez (currently 2.1)

cheers
