Hello - do I need to purchase a separate payment processor from my bank after purchasing and downloading cre loaded?

I recently opened a merchant account, and the bank is wants to sell me it's software payment processor - do I need this?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

which bank is it?

avoid IPAYMENT unless you want a run around and dont even think about PAYMENOW they cant even fix their own code or answer emails or phone calls at their 4 person shop. they will even route your calls only to one person so you are sunk if they happen to be in the bathroom when your site issue occurs.
