I hired PAYMENOW and ecommerce exchange and IPAYMENT to handle my website gateway well thanks for nothing. I was quoted low rates on my terminals and my gateway, but after a year or so they reprogrammed my terminal to my gateway account effectively adding 1 percent those card in hand transactions.
This has cost me at least 400 dollars in higher direct fees and un met minimum charges. However the worst part is their customer service. A nightmare. I spent over 5 hours today trying to get one competent person on the phone. I spoke with 9 people before i spoke with the first lucid person. Most cant even understand the issue. The two accounts just kills them as their software cant view two accounts at once.
They play many games not limited to Pass the blame to the selling agent. The selling agent blames them. They even attempted to say that i somehow was at fault for being in the room when they with my help directed the download to my terminal. They spent more time explaining what a shopping cart was than attacking the issues. Two accounts for them really destroys their minds. Their computer system cant access both at the same time, so you have to literally keep waiting for them to log on and off when you discuss both your accounts.
Avoid these clowns at all costs unless you know someone inside their org that can actually fix issues? I am exhausted just trying to explain what happened and broker the issue between their agent and them. No matter what you do dont use them for both your walk in terminal and your gateway.. they will never know what account is what and down the road you will find that they raised your terminal rate with this tactic, too.
Meanwhile with whom do i replace these guys? I just cant believe they would do this to me after 3 years and then act like it dont matter to them if i quit them over it.
