Hi everyone,
I'm new to CRE and I want to update from 6.15 to 6.2. I was wondering if I could update without changing my current site template, because it was customly designed by someone else and I wouldn't know how to rebuild the site from scratch with say a store that was updated to version 6.4. Also, how do I update the site, do I install 6.2 then install my template? or can I keep my 6.15 and all the current files and update it to 6.2 or possibly 6.4 while keeping the same template system. I had some trouble finding the file to update from 6.15 to 6.2 does anyone know a link where I could download it?

Can be a major job in 3 parts - 1) upgrading the dbase 2) upgrading a 6.15 template 3) replicating any 6.15 mods - wouldn't recommend 2) ... would look a bit outdated I suspect. Because upgrading that would be the biggest part of it. Very simple to use a 6.4.1a stock template like cre63_ats - and customisable too. If not sure just install a CE 641a free cart, check out how it works/looks.
