You need to spend some time reading up on marketing techniques and incorporating it into web design. There is a lot to do there.

Think "above the fold" and look at the sites you buy from, always a good start.

Just some quick thoughts:

* Tweak the layout to get rid of the default buttons and such (looks like every other CRE site)
* Fix the javascript issue with the 3rd picture on the home page
* I personally feel a whatever.biz domain cheapens the whole site
* Standardize on image sizes and camera distance during photo shoots so all jewelry pieces appear consistantly sized
* Add actual item dimensions to each product
* Add "close up" pictures to show detail
* Add "in-use" photos of a model wearing the jewelry
* Add a Google sitemap data feed module to get your stuff into google
* It all about the content... Add reviews, more detail to catalog

1.I think if you're selling jewellry it's VERY important to give off an aura of QUALITY and authenticity.At the moment the site layout makes your jewelry look like it would fall to pieces as soon as you got it.

2.I really wouldnt mention wedding days on the homepage as i dont think thats what your customers would be there for.People go to a brick and mortar stores for the things they need for weddings, i highly doubt many shop online for it.Especially items that arent made of precious metals.

3.When i was trying to click the images on the homepage i got the message " the webpage you are viewing is trying to close the window, do you want to close this window?"

4.I think you need to think like the big jewellers and study their websites, for example, you wouldnt see the "our pledge to you" part on a respected jewellers so why should it be on your site ?
I understand why you've put it there, you've put it there to try to add the element of professionalism that the website design lacks.

5.I really dont like the logo either, it's not good enough and doesnt scream quality.

6.The website name is terrible.Nobody is going to be typing "trish" or "treasures" into google and so you'll get no passing traffic.

7.The "Let's See What We Have Here
Men's Jewelry" part of the product page is slightly condascending and "Affordable and stunning jewelry for the man in your life." is nowhere near good enough as a product description.


I'm sorry but i dont like anything about the site.I'm not being mean when i say that.Just being honest.

What are you getting in terms of traffic and does the website actually make sales ?
