And you've tried clicking on the payment modules listed in the central panel? Got a screenshot there?

So if you click on Paypal, nothing shows right? Rename the paypal module in /includes/modules/payment to say paypal.phpp, then reload the admin page. Any change? Looked in /debug or server error logs for error messages?

Have you added in any of the payment modules in that list? Go through and rename them to find the one that is causing the payment page to break when displaying the right column. It doesn't have to be an enabled module to break it. Also as mentioned before check the error logs for the server / or an error.txt (if one gets written to /admin)

Failing all that, and given you're using an out-of-date free version, why not just upgrade to 6.4.1a CE?

I just noticed the same thing in my admin.

It's amazing how just about every problem that someone has, is faced with the response of "upgrade". When this is a place where people, who have already spent their money, come to for suggestions on how to fix the problem.

What is a Parse Error? That is displaying at the top of the Payment Module page.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ';', expecting ')' in /home/content/s/m/e/smellgoods7/html/catalog/pear/HTTP/Request.php on line 799

Software (especially open source) isn't a 'buy once, set for life' purchase. Since 6.2 came out (several years ago), plenty has changed in the various script languages and technologies associated with the cart.

I don't think /pear is even used now in payment modules - it's been replaced. So short of rewriting your old module, what's the quickest way to get it working?

The payment gateways themselves (eg Paypal) change their setups, browsers change. Upgrading is recommended because it means that the latest cart software has been used recently and works. The older the software, the lower the chance it does.
