Dear all,

We would like to upgrade our 6.2 version. is it bettet to go fron 6.2 to 6.3 or 6.2 to 6.4 ? what is the procedure to upgrade ?

we have a recurring bug on 6.2, sometime when people pay the order is not registered within the system... could you help us with ti.

Upgrade to 6.4.1a at least (new release is supposedly due out soon). 6.3 was scrapped not long after release and is not supported by Cre anymore.

Orders not appearing issues can be many, mostly the payment module in question.

The thing you'd have to cope with though in a shift to 6.4.1a is that the whole payment module side of things has been greatly reduced from 6.2 due to a little thing called pci and Cre's focus on it's own payment moudle, cresecure.

What should be important in order to migrate, is it hard to go from 6.2 to 6.4 ?? Is it straightforward with the Database ??

Database upgrade is the easiest part. The tricky bits are translating :
- your 6.2 template and any mods, esp infoboxes
- your payment module(s) - there may not be an equivalent
- updating other modules
- any mods made to the 6.2 store that are essential
- information pages
