Hi all,

We're running CReLoaded v6.4.1a at revision:2486.

The problem I'm having is that our store logs users out when they click on a graphic on the front page that has an embedded link to a search URL.

Let's say I'm selling diamond studded dog collars. I've got a bunch of these products loaded. When I search for 'diamond dog' I get a resulting URL that has all items containing those terms.

What goes wrong is that if I embed that URL in a graphic, say on the front page, users who are logged in click on it and then are logged out. They get the search result but are no longer logged in to the store.

If a user is logged in and does the same search from the search field, it works fine, they stay logged in and get the same results URL, only they remain logged in so they can add to cart and get things done properly.

It leads to confusion for users. I don't see why my embedded URL link causes the store to log off the user. Any help here appreciated.

The search urls that you're embedding ... have they got 'osCsid=' in them?
Need an example.

yes, that's correct.

Here's a sample URL:
http://www.domain.com/thestore/advanced ... search.y=0

It seems as if I'm including session information that is expired

You can't include a session id in a url ... try:
http://www.domain.com/thestore/advanced ... ds=compass
