Maybe this stores developer or someone else can answer this question below. I am really new to shopping cart modifications but would like to add this feature (described below) to my future site. I have someone who is helping me with the technical aspects but they are not sure how to answer my question below.

The website www.vividracing.com (great looking site by the way)has a search where you choose the vehicle and then gives you a list of models to choose from, you select model wanted. The items the show up after choosing both vehicle and model (years included here) are what is available in the store for that particular vehicle & model.

To set this up what has to be done with each product so that it comes back in the search when it fits the particular vehicle and model? I will also need to make sure whatever I do will work with Store Manager for CRE Loaded as I upload from spreadsheet and use data feeds as well.

We sell semi & pickup accessories so not really competing with vivid racing in case you might be concerned.

It is a bit of work converting to CRE, the autoinstaller does not work and needs a mojor rewrite but can be done:

Also, on the above demo-site, I decided not to clear the dropdowns as Vivid have done as I feel its easier to change the selected Make Model "On the Fly" without having to select a new vehicle.
