Hi. I need some help here. I think this could be a bug, or I'm just missing something. I'm familiar with PHP and customizing CRE.

I just installed CRE 6.4.1a B2B and I'm trying to get the [new] FDMS portion to work. Setting it to "Free" or "Login Required" works fine. But the "Purchase Required" refuses to work. From what I've figured out is that I think the issue is coming from the file:
templates/content/fdm_file_detail.tpl.php
It isn't checking to see if the client has purchased the file.

So either someone screwed up or I missed something. Help me please!

Switched on Admin >> Modules >>Checkout Success >> FDMS as well as >>Addons >> FDMS ?
If you click Attached Files or Products with Files report under Admin >> FDMS >> Reports, got any files attached to Products?

More symptoms:
On the checkout page, First, It totally skips asking you where you want it delivered and even clicking on 'Delivery Information' link brings me right back to the current page, even though it's trying to get to 'checkout_shipping.php'.

Second, After a successful purchase (using the CC test mode), it has in the center of the page;

They are in plain text and NOT links. I think they are both separate portions of code that brings it in.

Please help... I don't want to have to reinvent the wheel to get this to work.

... and you've checked for error messages in /debug and in the server's error logs? All of the boxes are green in admin >> tools >> server info ? Hard to say what prob is from here - not enough info.
Try another install, see what happens. related.

No error messages on the error log that pertain. All items are green in the tools> server info. Running PHP 5.2.6

Other modules install without any issue.

This is coming to be quite a mystery. I have a feeling that i'll just have to jury rig it, but I don't like doing that as it can have unexpected repercussions later.

I think the file that checks if the th edl has been purchased or not would be in classes/download.php not a .tpl.php which are mostly for layout of the template's pages.

No, a download purchase will not trigger the delivery/shipping page ... it's a virtual product, right?

When I asked 'have you read the docs' what I meant was have you set up a product correctly, ie is there a product with a dl attached to it that shows in the fdms reports?

The delivery question doesn't show up for any purchase, downloadable or not.

The downloadable purchases in question are hypnosis CDs. It was always buying the CDs and have them delivered through the mail, but some people prefer to just download them. So the way I want to set it up is that they can either download the CD OR we can send it in the mail. So both options will be available to them.

I originally set up the fmds according to how the manual described. maybe I should uninstall it and re install it?

And you've got all the weights set correctly for virtual and non-virtual products? And a shipping module that's set to go? It's gotta be in the setup of the products and hookup of these to the dload. Unless your store is a result of an upgrade gone wrong or there was some mod made that wiped out some of the fdms logic.

If you have the option to install a dev / test store to try and debug this issue, I'd do that from the installer.

Ok, I uninstalled all the elements and then Re-installed them and now for some reason it's working. I don't know why, but I don't care.
