Think that includes 6.5... But since google is looking for you to identify what category the item goes in by their taxonomy I would like to modify the google_pre.php file to something like this:


if($catParentID == '28')
{
$google_product_cat = "Sporting Goods > Indoor Games > Bowling > Bowling Balls";
}else{
$google_product_cat = "Sporting Goods > Indoor Games > Bowling";
}


While it seems simple I just can't see what I am doing. I thought $catParentID was populated by the google_pre.php file but now I don't know that answer. Hmmm....

While I thought it would be easy it didn't work as I wrote it (and as I corrected it --- forgot the 2nd = the first time I wrote it quickly).

Not sure what about this is not working for you. I will say that dealing with Google Taxonomy by hard coding assignments within the code doesn't seem to me to be an optimal approach.

I also think you may need to encapsulate the taxonomy string in quotation marks...

Nope never got it to work... Still would like to have it work but I'm on to other life things...

Does an echo of $catParentID show anything when you run the script?
