You can create a url that has the buy_now parameter in it, if you say wanted to add it to a email newsletter, eg:

<a href="http://www.mystore.com/index.php?action=buy_now&products_id=3>Add this product to cart</a>

So you would hardcode in the product ids.

Perhaps if you explain what you're trying to do, it'd make suggesting an answer a lot easier.

I am working on jewelery project, in that add to cart was not there. Now i want to have this functionality,"add to cart", but donno how to have it in my project.when i checked the creloaded catalog, the shopping cart pages are already there and all the functionality which i need are already present.

Now my problem is i donno which pages to call when i click "add to cart" and the further pages.

I hope i am clear now.

What is the connection between 'jewellery project' and no 'add to cart'? Are you using a cre loaded shopping cart or not? Cre carts have the code included on the product pages to add to cart.
Or are you using a modified template from another cart?

???

Nope - that line isn't from a cre loaded cart. It's a modification, could have anything behind it.
How would a free forum provide answers to code that has been modified in any number of ways?

Advice - get a CE version, find out how it works, THEN go back to the modified version.
Or get in contact with whoever modified it, get them to explain. It's not default code.

If this is all jjust stuff you've made up, tae a look at my original reply for a link that WILL work. Notice the product_id parameter ... look at your latest line ... do they look similar?

Hi

The store works absolutely fine but you can't add anything to the cart.

It just says:

WHAT'S IN MY CART?
Your Shopping Cart is empty!

Any ideas
