Hi,

I want to create new add to cart flow.
Current everything is coming from product table.
I want my add to cart should pull data from different table, eg from ABC table with different columns, is it possible? IF yes plz suggest.

If no, let me know what is other way?

question, why not use product table?

also look in the database, you will find that there is a another table called cart contents and you can pretty much put whatever data you want in there.

in the shopping_cart files and dependancies you will find the class that takes the data from the product ID and looks up the product table and then adds that data to the cart table under a session or a cutomer id. you can make a new class that adds data from the url or another source.
