Hi there,

I am assuming this isn't a bug as I don't see much in the forums.

When I install this module, It says it is installed in admin and it let me configure my API details but does not get a sort order and is does not appear as a payment option for customers.

Can anyone tell me where I have went wrong

Sort order not showing = perpetual (cre) loaded bug that continues through the series.
Is this the Paypal Express Checkout module or the Pay by Paypal version? Make sure you don't have both installed.

After many attempts at removing and adding the modules without sucess, I finally realized what you were telling me.

The standalone PayPal Express module is just broke. Makes no difference what other modules are installed. It still doesn't work even when it is the only payment module installed.

But, if I had taken time to read the configuration of the Pay by PayPal module, one of the 1st options is to choose the PayPal payment method (Website Payments Pro, Website Payments Standard or PayPal Express). Just fill in the correct details in the correct fields (You need to look for the correct configuration area as configuration areas are shown for all 3 even though you have seected Express Checkout but they are easily identified).

This Express Checkout module works just fine.

Thanks soundzgood2. Without your post I would probably have just dropped the project but your post made me go back pay attention instead of just assuming that this module wasn't what I wanted.

Congrats with sticking with it - the standalone shouldn't haven't been included with the 3 in 1 for this exact reason.
