It is typical to see post and threads about bugs and errors with CRE Loaded 6.2 here on the furoms. Thats becuase this is where people go when things dont work. And we are grateful for the community at large for the assistance given for those using the free version.

That said, I know there are many people that are having good to great success with 6.2 Standard and Pro and I would like to invite you to post your positive experiences here. (especially now that patch 02 is out :) )

Also please write a review at the store for the pro or other products you have purchased.

And if you got a problem please post on the other forums and we will help you with them so you can post your success story here as well!

I have to add my experiences for those that are on the fence... I have been very happy with the new changes of creloaded... We run 6.2 pro and are converting most attributes to sub products... The Pro version with sub products is a life saver hands down...

So far our customers are providing faverable feed back and seen to be very happy... Also our shipping error rate is way down... Inventory is easy to control and Chain Reaction Web folks have always been very good to us...

I also have not finished the conversion however can see big changes...

Having CRW do the hosting, has been a great experience...

Thanks again Sal and the CRW team!

So far...so good!

I admit I was frustrated with all the bugs when I signed up for 6.2 Pro after hearing all the praise about 6.15. Instead of downgrading, support told me to stick with it. Ever since patch 02, I have been very pleased. I have gotten my first order and many compliments on the clean appearance of the store. As a newbie to CRE, I plan on changing the template later this year.

I still working with support to fix the USPS module and I still have not tackled the PayPal Express module, but I am finally up and running!

I can say only 1 thing about 6.2...

Loving It!... Loving It!... Loving It!!...

Yeah like many, i was frustrated at first, but hey, every new system has it's hicups!.. Whats good to see is the CRE Team putting time and effort into working through the problems with the community!...

I think CREForge is a great way of voicing about bugs etc rather than them getting lost in the sea of posts on the forums. Yeah it's always worth a look to find answers to existing issues that have been delt with, but CREForge is great for those new buggys that appear.

CRELance is also a great idea, there are so many sites out there offering programmers etc to work your problems for you, CRELance gives you the chance to get all the programmers and let them come to you, rather than you going out chasing!.. Inspired!!

I love 6.2, i think it's a great collaboration of great people doing great things, and if you enlisted like the army do, i'd sign up tomorrow!!

My site is still undergoing 'tweaks' but it's pretty much there, a few little things i want to iron out on a personal level, but if i dont mind saying so myself, for someone who up until 12 months ago, had about as much programming knowlage as a cup of coffee!.. i dont think i've done too bad.

Although a HUGE thanks goes out to the various people on the forums who have helped me along the way and i hope that i can give back atleast some of the information i have gained!!..

So, in closing, Sal, David and everyone who have made CRE Loaded 6.2 possible... Thank You !!

Ok, butt kissing session over ;)

Regards and good luck to all :)

Hi,
This is my first post but I have been using CRE for some time and would like to say that 6.2 is FAB!................... :D I started using 6.1 last year and now I have used 6.2 I'm over the moon Thank You for all your hard work in making my site a success.

I don't know HTML or PHP but seem to mange to tweak things. I can't understand why so many people have problems with this and that is not working and this patch has upset my site.
I have 2 simple rules, one is I always upload 2 sites one as a shop and a test site, the test site I use to upload patches and do changes before I make major changes to the main site it's better then uploading a backup again. Two I have found that FTP Programs, although they say upload complete some files have not uploaded properly and cause things not to work as they should so I do a second upload to the same directory. I set the FTP Program to over right if newer, I sat and watched it upload one day and most files it skipped but there was a few that uploaded that did not upload on the first upload when I run it for the 3rd time it skips every file I then set it up test and everything works no probs so in theory if the shop works for one it should work for all. If anybody has problems give it a try.

Once again Fantastic Work.

I am not much good at sucking up but was one of those doing a lot of complaining during the early releases of the B2B version. It has taken a bit of time, but now we have a damn good program to work with.

I do think future releases need a lot more testing under different circumstances before they are released to the public.

6.2 B2B is impressive software.... it will take a fair amount of work to get it exactly like you want it, but in the end... it will save you thousands

Sal, I think that the CRE Team is one step ahead of the competition -- good instance of commercialization of oscommerce. I have almost all of the functionality, stability and usability I require -- just think, even a non-coder like myself can use it. (Of course, there's a learning curve involved but the tutorials, tech support, forums are available).

Additionally, the forums offer a supportive and knowledgeable core group of folks like Jason, Michael, etc. who keep this chain reaction growing.

I just hope that the monthly hosting fee decreases as you promised over a year ago.
