We started building the site in early october (
http://www.mandrel-bends.com) with a basic oscommerce package. Picked up CRE B2B 6.2 in november after we grew frustrated with attempting to "upgrade" our store with a million modules to make it do what we needed. Our site has been hosted and run on yahoo for years and the fees were getting to be a little crazy with our sales volume. It was time for a change.
Some feedback:
1. Admin console - very well layed out. Very professional, clean, easy to use.
2. B2b module - extremely helpful. We've never been able to offer real time tier based pricing. We setup 4 tier levels and moved our customers into their respective tears, setup the pricing structures in the products and wa-la. Works like a charm!
3. I would really like to see some bulk copying options w/ duplicate versus just linked bulk copying. This is irritating when you are trying to build 800-1000 parts and most of them you can skeleton for others. I also want the B2B tables copied from one product to the other.
4. We need better statistical analysis of customers. I need to be able to see where people are coming from quickly and what they are doing. I think this is probably the biggest short coming of this package.
5. Implement the Fedex & USPS label printing modules!! These things work like a charm, but were a real bitch to integrate into CRE. Well worth it, but out of the box would have saved some serious time.
6. We really like the paypal express already integrated and ready to go. That was really slick. We also really liked the fedex & usps real time quotes ready to go - right out of the box.
I'll probably add more comments to this thread as we tweak out bugs with the site. In general though, I am very happy with the package. Oh - and would it kill you guys to add a next button into the order invoice viewing window? When you do 100+ orders a day, it's a real pain to have to keep backing out of each one and finding you place and going to the next.
