Is there anyway to get Products Tabs installed in CRE.
Or are there any contributions for it.

http://www.advancedmp3players.co.uk/sho ... cts_id=419

or

http://dropshipdirect.com/warehouse/pro ... ts_id=8841

I have custom cumputer creator as contribution but will it work too with CRE?

Maybe these are some ideas to work on.

I'm new here. So i don't now if already someone is working on these contributions.

Would be glad te hear! :)

Those tab features look sweet, any idea what the orgional oscommerce contributes are? As am looking for something similar and would need some kind of starting point for this. This is a different way of doing something that I suggested here:

http://www.creloaded.com/Forums/viewtopic/t=4359.html

Makes this appear very clear especially the first one.

*edit: think I found it:

I see you found the contribution.

I used that one too. But I would like to know how to get it like on the 2 websites I linked in my previous posting.

There is not much to find about tabs in de forums.
But here is a link which some people used.

http://webfx.eae.net/dhtml/tabpane/demo.html

But don't have the knowledge how to use it in CRE or OSC

I will have a look at it and if that fails might pop an e-mail to the guy who made it see if he could do a creloaded version. I personally think this would be a great contribute, and hope someone with a lot better skill (I just about manage follow instructions lol) can take a look and implement this.

Okay I have PM the guy on Oscommerce and asked him to pop other and have a look at creating a contribute for Creloaded now it is just about waiting and seeing. Crossed fingers. There are a few other contributes which talk about product tabs so I might have to e-mail the site owners (to the sites mentioned above by DaKing) to see exactly what they used just incase I have asked the wrong guy lol. In the meantime if anyone was to take a stab at this for creloaded please let us know I really wouuld like an area under the product to be able to see, reviews and FAQ without to many complicated clicks. If I have any further luck I will keep everyone posted.

Okay I have also put a request upon oscommerce forum for any help:

http://forums.oscommerce.com/index.php?showtopic=143853

So maybe we will get some help in this.

*Offtopic, I feel like I am on a mission at present so I do apologise for the amount of posts posted today but maybe this might spure on a few more coders over here!

Have just e-mailed the company who I believe built the mp3 site:

http://www.adamantean.com

To see if they can help shed any light on what needs to be done.

Maybe this would be a great add-on in Loaded 6.5 to work on.

Read this topic in forums.oscommerce.com and read last post.

If you use the WebFX TabPane, it'll take about 30 minutes to implement into any site. I did it on my own site at http://www.oscommerce-templates.co.uk

The instructions for the TabPane are clear and concise - there is no reason why anyone cannot do it. It's a matter of copying and pasting.

Hi this looks nice do you know though if you can have one of the tabs link to the reviews of the item and the other to an FAQ section?

Yocan link the tabs to anyting. So yes, you could pull the Reviews out of the database and have them on 1 tab. same goes for your FAQ section etc.

Okay I have looked at it but am a little confused at being able to add it to a creloaded site, with tempaltes etc. I think I need some pointers as this seems aimed at any site and not specifically for oscommerce so which files and were do I need to put this code and where do the files need to be uploaded?

As I feel I could make a right hash of this if it is not right etc.
