I am considering accepting Credit Cards at my store. I have had several request lately to use them.

Can I get some suggestions on the better companies to go with that process Credit cards for my CreLoaded store. I have seen the ones listed in my Payment module. I was wondering which ones (one) was considered the best all around.

I will check out their site. Can you tell me anything about them? What are their fees? How long havt you been using them?

Have you ever had anuy problems with CC fraud?

which mayment module are you using the one included with CRE or the new one?

I am from the USA - it seems that Nochex is UK based.

avoid paymenow and ipayment. Between them they cant take any responsibility and forms sent to one are not automatically forwarded to the other so to change one bank account i have had to send 4 different forms 2 times and check that each was received and properly implemented.

at one point i was on hold for over 15 minutes just waiting to speak with a supervisors answering machine. If they dont need my business how can they need yours?

I use Authorizenet and haven't had any issues with them at all in several years...

We are a reseller for them so I can set you up an account if you just PM me or CREmerchant.com is also a reseller and they can help you too.

We are strictly a reseller for authorize.net so I believe CREmerchant can set you up faster and cheaper..

Thanks for the suggestions - they were all very helpful. I did sign up with cremerchant who uses Authorize.net. In the short few weeks I've been with them, all has gone well.

At the end of it all, rates and fees aside, is the AGENT who handles your business.

E-Commerce requires a special skillset that most Merchant Services Reps just do not have.

Your Agent's Office is the key to a fast response from the bank, and should be your first point of contact.

Banks (all of them) get very busy and you WILL have to wait when you call. There is no way around it without increasing rates to increase personel and merchants dont want that.

When you do get that rep, how they handle you tells the story about their training and knowledge.

Base Customer Service reps at all banks have limited access. If you have a chargeback or credit issue, you may wind up waiting a little as a few reps handle large numbers. Again.. it goes back to $$

Call the bank for simple things and call your Agent for everything else and let them direct you and grow your business.

Many credit card companies offer cash back offers for those with good credit. There are many to choose from and consumers can compare the cards to find the right one to fit all their needs. Cash back cards are however a great way to go because everyone can use money back every month!!!!
