Hi, I am trying use the flat rate shipping module. The fee is displayed on the "what's in my cart "page, the page just before you check out, but it is not calculated in the total cost. It shows:

Ship to:
Shipping Methods: Rates:

Flat Rate (Best Way) $10.00

There is no radio button next to it to select this method. Why is that?

Must i have an account with a shipping company? I have a supplier that drop ships so there is no need for me to have a shipping acct. I just want to have a flat rate for all purchases and if possible a flat rate that fluctuates based on qty. Please help!

I am using only the Flat Rate shipping option for my online ordering at http://www.zcater.com/onlinestore and it is working just as expected.

I have no button to select it because I have no other options.

- I did not have to select a shipping company. This was not a requirement, we do our own delivery.

This is how an order shows up in the confirmation page:

Sub-Total: $6.95
California sales tax rate (7.75%) + Service charge (15%): $1.58
Flat Rate (Delivery Charge): $6.95
Total: $15.48

It may be different if you have more than 1 option for shipping, but this works fine for me.

Look in modules/order_total (or something like that). You have to tell the system to inc. shipping in the order calculation.

BTW - these questions would be answered quicker in the right forum
