Hi,

Warning: I am able to write to the configuration file: /home/demo/public_html/cre/catalog/admin/includes/configure.php. This is a potential security risk - please set the right user permissions on this file.

Warning: I am able to write to the configuration file: /home/demo/public_html/cre/catalog/includes/configure.php. This is a potential security risk - please set the right user permissions on this file.

I have set every permission to that files, but doesn't make any difference

Pls. suggest what has to do?

Thanks

try 444
sometimes ftp doesn't always work changing them.. so try from your host control panel/file manager

if all else fails, have your host set them at 444

Hello,

777 permissions are set at the time of installation for includes/configure.php and admin/includes/configure.php and after installation gets complete you need to set the permissions to 444 for both the files to get rid off the above warning message.
