I decided to remove older backups of my database in our Creloaded cart. I removed them all with the intention of doing a fresh backup. After they were all removed and I attempted to back up the database, I get this:

Result code: 2
0 => /usr/bin/mysqldump: File '/usr/share/mysql/charsets/?.conf' not found (Errcode: 2)

1 => /usr/bin/mysqldump: Character set '#33' is not a compiled character set and is not specified in the '/usr/share/mysql/charsets/Index' file

2 => /usr/bin/mysqldump: Got error: 1251: Client does not support authentication protocol requested by server; consider upgrading MySQL client when trying to connect

Failure: The database has NOT been saved.

Try using the next one down - Database Backup (backup.php): I found BackupMysql doesn't work on all servers.

I find that neither option on that page works for me, instead I have to go through my web host's control console (godaddy.com) and create a backup through that, then I can download it via my ftp program (filezilla). It's a couple extra steps but no biggie. So VoltageKing, if that admin page doesn't work for you either, you might check with your host to see if there are any other ways to get your database backed up.
