I am considering changing to CRE Secure for PCI Compliance and have several questions:

-Is there anything available with this service such as Authorize.net's Virtual Terminal? We take some credit card orders over the phone so it is useful if we are able to manually input the credit card information with the price of the order for credit card processing.

-I know with this system the user is not supposed to be able to see that they are going to 3rd party processing and if I remember right it's called HTML imaging or something like that and the screen would look just like our website's screen looks. Is there any change to either the browser title window or the browser URL window that would give the user the idea that they are switching to another website?

-Also, how would the transition work? We want to avoid outages. For example, while we are getting set up with CRESecure would we still be able to process authorize.net payments while testing of CRESecure is going on so that we can do this until CRESecure is ready to go live? I know we need to change our settings with our processor to CRESecure but I want to make sure if during that transition authorize.net will still work until we turn authorize.net after CRESEcure goes live.

-Also, I realize that CRE Secure works with many merchants (Banks) but also currently work with eProcessingNetwork as a gateway. I heard CRE Secure will start working with Authorize.net soon. Is that true?

Thank you.

Thanks for your post.

#1. CRE Secure connects you to a variety of online payment gateways, which all provide Virtual Terminal and Reporting for refunds and voids.

#2 we have completed our Authorize.net connection, and you can keep your existing authorize.net account, just enter your gateway credentials into your online profile at cresecure.com

#3 Our HTML Clone technology brings over your template that is specific to your customers user session. We remove all JavaScript and any Iframes to protect the customer while entering their Credit Card data on our payment page. The page title is your page title. The url does change to our URL. But we do allow you to customize the url somewhat so its not a complete strange url.

#4 Like changing any payment module, we recommend that you keep your existing payment module working until you have completely installed and setup and tested your new CRE Secure module.

I look forward to working with you to achieve true PCI Compliance!
