Adserver.Authsecure.com =(

Hello,

For the past week, I've been having issues connecting to my CRE admin. It keeps waiting for adserver.authsecure.com. It is impossible to get any work done, and this has set me days behind.

I looked at some threads which explained how to stop it, but they were quite old, and I can't find where in header.php & footer.php to comment it out. Perhaps the code changed since then, but whatever it is, it's the same problem from five years ago.

Am I the only one having this issue?

Anyone have a link to a current fix?

Yeah I get that happening, just not that often. Try the advice here:

Thank you for the link.

I did find that, and a few other threads on the issue, but it hasn't worked for me. There seems to be more php pages which reference Adserver.authsecure.com that I can't find. That thread is also over two years old, so code must have changed too.

When I asked CRE about it, they wanted my login information...I don't think that would do any good anyway, because MyStore is unusable in its current state.

I guess I'm the only one experiencing this issue at this time...

Heh, yeah I doubt Cre would be interested in removing their own ad feed.
admin/messages is the place to start as the link suggests (even if it is old, the code in this area doesn't seem to have changed much.)

Your not alone!

I have the same problem using B2B 6.4.1

I use Magneticones store manager, so I haven't spent much time in the admin panel. It hangs and just sits there. After a few times I noticed the adserver being referenced as well.

This slows down my whole system, its really annoying. Since I paid for the product I should not have to have there advertising on it. I can see if its the free version..

Try this:

Find: (line 27)

Find and delete block: (line 45)

This worked dramatically on a client's 6.4 site today ... and the std admin nag wasn't relevant to their Pro store, so can't see harm in removing that.

I took the nag out and my site is really fast now.
