I am doing the upgrade from 6.4.1a B2B to 6.4.2 B2B on a development server, in fact I already did it. I do have a lot of custom stuff but just over wrote it all since this is not our real store just for fun.
So to be clear I just uploaded the updated files over any customization I might have. The only directory I did not upload was /images just to save time but I doubt that matters.

Lots of issues but one at a time.

I see one of the new features is light box. What's happening on this install is when you click an image to view larger it opens a new page instead of the light box or the old style pop up image. I don't really want to use light box but why doesn't it work? And is there a new setting somewhere to use light box or not use it?

Are you running an url rewrite module?

Sorry I did not see your reply until just now. Yes I am running a url rewrite module.
M1 Power SEO Urls. I will disable and check it.

UPDATE: *a few minutes later.
I actually wasn't running a rewrite mod but the .htaccess was coded as if I was since I am checking out the update on a dev server and just copied that file over from the live one. I removed the code from .htaccess and the pop/lightbox is still not functioning. I can see the url when hoovering over the "click to enlarge" button and it is simply pointing the to the large image and not to the popup_image.php like it should.

So far the upgrade is a total disaster for me. Luckily I did not do it to a live store.

I downloaded a fresh copy of CRE Loaded PCI B2B 6.4.1, the B2B Patch 6.4.1a and the 6.4.2 Patch from 6.4.1a and merged all of them together and uploaded to a different server. I did this as a clean install meaning nothing is custom coded but I am using a copy of the same database from the live store. I'm using the cre63_ats (Site default) template.

Besides the fact that I can not get either the pop up images or light box to work, (not sure which is supposed to be default or if it can be switched from one to the other) I have no WSIWYG editor anywhere in admin in any browser even though it is enabled. Unless I missed something, which I can't imagine what it would be the upgrade to 6.4.2 is flawed.
Has anyone successfully upgraded to 6.4.2?
I'm sure there are other issues but if I can't get these 2 issues worked out upgrading is not going to happen.

I guess the next step in the testing process is to actually run the install with a new database and see what happens.

UPDATE: Did the install with a new database.
First thing I notice while setting up a new category is the option/tab to use an Existing Image for the category image is non existent. What's up with that?

2nd, still no HTML editor even though it is enabled.

3rd, when adding new product no option/tab to use Existing Image under Product Images for the small image. The other 2, Product and Pop up has that option but not the small.

4th, still no pop up product image or light box pop up.

The way I see it, the upgrade to 6.4.2 is a total bust. Unless someone can tell me they successfully upgraded I won't be bothering with it anymore. What a waste of my time.
