Please can someone advise on the new 'Ultimate SEO URL' compared to the seo friendly URL in the previous cre release. Please answer questions below:

1) What is Ultimate SEO URL in the new CRE release and how does it differ from the previous SEO friendly URL you had in the last patch?

2) What is the advantages of 'ultimate seo URL' over the previous seo friendly URL?

3) Will 'ultimate seo URL' contain the categories in each of the product URL's on a web-site or will the URL only contain the product name and leave out the categories in the URL?

4) If possible, so I can see how it looks, please give an example of a site or just a few URL from a 'Ultimate SEO URL'?

Here's my take:

1) What is Ultimate SEO URL in the new CRE release and how does it differ from the previous SEO friendly URL you had in the last patch?
USU is basically the old oscommerce seo url rewriter ported to (cre) loaded.
What's Seo Friendly Url? Which patch / version of cre loaded does this appear in ?

2) What is the advantages of 'ultimate seo URL' over the previous seo friendly URL?
If you're talking about an old oscommerce contribution under the SEO Friendly Url, then read this:

3) Will 'ultimate seo URL' contain the categories in each of the product URL's on a web-site or will the URL only contain the product name and leave out the categories in the URL?
Shows either category name or product name, not both.

4) If possible, so I can see how it looks, please give an example of a site or just a few URL from a 'Ultimate SEO URL'?
www.mystore.com/catalogue-one-c-1.html (this is a catgeory called category one)
www.mystore.com/sub-category-one-c-1_2.html (this is a subcategory called 'sub category one' in 'category one')
www.mystore.com/product-one-p-1.html (this is a product called 'product one' which is in sub category one)

What the difference between CRE SEO in version 6.4.1a and ultimate SEO URL?

Which would you recommened and why?

The Cre SEO Url rewriter is junk and creates duplicate urls for the same page - avoid.
I'd use the Ultimate seo rewriter - this is probably why version 6.5 has returned to using this, because the 6.4.x seo urls is no good.

Better than Ultimate seo urls? Magneticone powerseos, magic seos.

As you had mentioned as in ultimate SEO URL no category name is mentioned in the URL only the product is mentioned, does that mean if I have Ultimate SEO URL and I link one product to 5 different categories, will Google only see one URL structure on 5 different category pages, so will only index one page and there will be no duplicate page penalty. Is that right or would the same one product liked to 5 different category pages have a slightly different URL structure on each page, therefore Google will index 5 different URLs, therefore duplicate pages. Please advise which one is correct?

Please re-read my second post. Ultimate urls won't create duplicate pages.

I have 6.5 cree loaded and my ultimate SEO URLS IS NOT WORKING IT GIVES ME A 404 ERROR WHEN EVER I CLICK ON ANYTHING IN MY STORE, WHEN I DISABLE THE MODULE I CAN CLICK ON ITEMS IN MY STORE CAN ANY BODY HELP ME!

Did you create the .htaccess file as per instructions in the ultimate seo module? Ie copy seo.htaccess into a file called .htaccess into the root of your store ?
